Rewind November 2025 ๐ฅ Major updates for Player (Web, Android, FireTV, Tizen and more)
## ๐ A Major Milestone: The React Native Player Rebuild
The Player has just gone through its most ambitious transformation so far: a full rebuild in React Native. This new architecture gives the platform a cleaner and more coherent technical base, making the engine easier to evolve and maintain over time.
This rewrite also brings a significant jump in performance. Playback is smoother, startup is faster and the overall experience feels more responsive on every device.
Most importantly, the new Player opens the path to a much larger ecosystem. With this foundation, support for Android TV, Fire Stick, TizenOS and many other environments becomes far more natural to deliver. This release is not only an improvement, it is the beginning of a new generation for the platform.
